You know I wasn't even looking for a linnie but a GCC. I emailed a breeder and she asked me if I ever heard of linnies, I hadn't but am so glad she told me about them because after more research they really seemed like the perfect bird for my home. She had two babies, I went to meet them and after I left decided to get both I was so impressed.
Their personalities are like polar opposites, House never stops making noise and is the adventurer, clown, looking for trouble. House definately "chose" me at the breeders house. Wilson is more sensitive and likes to cuddle but can hold a grudge but both are friendly and quiet. They have one "loud" car alarm sound they make if they see something that scares them but it is rare and really is more amusing than loud and annoying. They usually make it when my son feels the need to show them one of his stuffed animals or they see something scarey outside the window. Their regular chatter or chuckle is down right adorable. Good luck on your linnie search, you will not be disappointed!!!
My boys are babies but are saying "pretty bird," make the kiss, kiss sound, and know several whistles. They aren't even 6 months yet.
