My kakariki is a little bigger then a Budgie. But Kakarikis need a bigger cage because they are pretty energetic. I found a 75 dollar cage on Craigslist that is 50.5" tall x 18" wide x 18" deep. Heres the picture:

Im not sure the bar spacing, which is important. Does the bar spacing look too big?
This is him when he was younger (hes a big bigger now)

Does that cage look ok? We would probably get him a bigger cage soon.

Theres also this one I found at a pet store. Its 90 dollars and is 14x18x28 but it comes with a bunch of stuff. Heres the picture

It comes with:
2 seed & water cups, 2 comfort perches, mirror w/beads, play rings & links, wood ladder, swing, cement perch, calcium block, rope toy w/beads, treat cup & 4 sanded perch covers

Which is a better deal?

I would get the larger cage if the bar spacing is correct. I'm not positive but it does look like 1inch spacing from what I can see at the bottom? That petstore cage looks like 1 inch too?

The bar spacing is actually fine on the bigger cage! Just make sure there's no rust!!!

Kararikis are really energetic birds that keeps on moving here and there. They run really fast too, it reminds me of a road runner. I had a red front once years ago just like the one your getting. IF the bars on the cage bars were vertical, they would like that very much as mine used to slide down from the top of the cage going down. It was very amusing for her to play like that.

I think the bigger one is fine, the bar spacing looks okay to me but not sure, could you take a closer pic ?
