Ona was being bratty and bitey at the time and my husband said to her “Now if you can’t behave I’m going to put you up.” She said “shut up” and did a sassy walk off!!! 🫣😱😱

Family snuggle pile.

Little miss gave me a heart attack today by flying off somewhere and I couldn’t find her. I called her name and heard her “pur” in response and found her behind a stack of packages. Why Ona why!

Poor girl has had more cage time lately because we’ve been sick for days.

We’re getting there! As much as I love my pets taking care of them when you’re really sick is rough. Especially when you’re doing it for 3 dogs, 1 foster dog, and the Queen Ona. Phew. 😮‍💨

Actual conversation with Ona last night:

Ona: loud, insistent screeching......... croaky voice "outside"

Me: "What? What do you want? Did you say outside?"

Ona: more loud insistent screeching

Me: "No we can't go outside. It's cold and it's dark."

Ona: screeching pitch changes to grumpy, sassy, tantrum screech

Me: Ona it's winter. I can't control the weather."

Ona: tantrum continues

Let me tell you this girl knows the word "no" and she does NOT like to hear it I still can't get over that she has a specific screech tone she uses for tantrums and backsass.

* she says "outside" when she wants to go in the sunroom

Well I'd say she's still in that phase of puberty now. My understanding is it starts around 2 years old ish and can last for 1 to 2 years of that teenage rebellion phase. I'd say she's the same so far just more sassy She's not quite 2 yet.
